Hello!
Welcome to our Newsletter.
In this section we will inform you about the various people who will be guesting our events.
We will also take the opportunity to publish pieces that we feel strike a chord with our philosophy and items that we feel would be of interest.
If you have a piece of writing or anything that you feel would be of interest then please email them to us. This includes any inspirational writings that some of you may have. They can be published anonymously if you want!

Suffolk Circle of Light held its first monthly service on Sunday 6th July in Nowton village hall. The medium was Dorothy Cooklin, and we were very pleased to have a guest appearance by Dorothy's friend, Evelyn Fricker.
Evelyn is now 92 years old, and, after an absence of many years, wanted to get back onto the platform. She certainly showed that she still has what it takes, giving a lovely address, and some very spiritual messages.
We do hope that Evelyn has not made her last appearance, and that we can welcome her back soon!
In August, Mark and Pat Smith from Diss gave us a happy and interactive service, which was enjoyed by all present, and Mark in particular left people with a lot to think about.
Our next service will be on Sunday 7th September, when our medium will be Gay Harrison. Everyone is very welcome to join with us.
We hope to see you there.

This is the reading that was given at the August service, a poem written by Portia Nelson.
Autobiography in five chapters.
1. I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I fall in.
I am lost.
I am hopeless.
It isn't my fault.
It takes forever to find a way out.
2. I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I pretend I don't see it.
I fall in again.
I can't believe I'm in the same place.
But it isn't my fault.
It still takes a long time to get out.
3. I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I see it is there.
I still fall in....its a habit.
It is my fault.
I get out immediately.
4. I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I walk round it.
5. I walk down another street.
During my recent week at Stansted Hall, I was lucky enough to have the wonderful Mavis Pitila as my tutor. On the first evening, Mavis asked us to do a piece of inspired writing for the next day. So when I went to my room, I sat on my bed and did a meditation, and asked for some inspiration.
This is what I received.
The Time Is Now
Today is a special day, it is yours, to live as you will, to fill with experiences.
Today is your opportunity to be of service to those on Earth, and also those in the spirit world.
Today is your chance to learn from the past, to build on the positive experiences, and make amends for past mistakes.
Yesterday has gone, nothing can be added, nothing taken away. Do not waste time regretting that which cannot be changed. Instead resolve this day to be mindful of your thoughts, words and actions. Be aware of their effect on yourself as well as on others around you.
Live in peace with yourself so that you may be an influence for peace within the world.
remember, the time is now.It is uniquely yours to do with as you will. But how much better wil you feel if you use it for the highest good, with honesty and joy, in the service of others.
