On Saturday September 18th, we are looking forward to a visit to Nowton from Haydn Clarke and Stephanie Robinson, who are going to give us a demonstration of psychic art.

Haydn has been aware of spirit from an early age, and is the son of a well known medium. He now specialises in trance, transfiguration and psychic art.

He works with a spirit guide who was born in France, and later became a monk at Glastonbury Abbey, Brother Joseph, a cook, who passed in around 1150.

Haydn recevied much of his training from Gordon Higginson, then president of the SNU, and one of the most respected mediums and teachers ever.

Stephanie has been teaching and demonstrating in England and across Europe for 20 years. She is known for the speed and accuracy of her mediumship, and can hold up tp four links at once!

Haydn and Stevie have been guests on Colin Fry's 'The 6ixth Sense', and we hope that you will be able to join us for what promises to be a very enjoyable evening.

This is one of my favourite pieces of writing, humerous, but with a serious message to it. i hope that you enjoy it too.

 Autobiography in Five Chapters

by Portia Nelson

1) I walk down the street.

There is a deep hole in the sidewalk

I fall in.

I am lost.

I am hopeless.

it isn't my fault.

It takes forever to find my way out.

2) I walk down the same  street

There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.

I pretend that I don't see it.

I fall in again.

I can't believe that I am in the same place.

But it isn't my fault.

It still takes a long time to get out.

3) I walk down the same street.

There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.

I see it is there. I still fall in..... it is a habit.

But my eyes are open. I know where I am.

it is my fault.

I get out immediately

4) i walk down the same street.

There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.

I walk around it.

5) I walk down another street.
